Three generations. One Tenerife family farm.
Since Don Leoncio Montesdeoca founded the farm in 1984, our family has brought together farming, artisan cheesemaking and the flavours of the Canary Islands.

Our family and team continue to bring farming, production and community together in Adeje.
A story of family, love and cheese
Don Leoncio started a traditional farm. When Angeles Nieves Rodriguez Garcia, wife of Leoncio Montesdeoca Junior and our queen cheesemaker, joined the business, the family enterprise grew. Her love and dedication to cheesemaking helped shape the Montesdeoca we know today.
Three generations of the family and our team continue this story, keeping the connection between the farm, the cheesery and the people who enjoy our products alive.

Our cheese begins on the farm
Our story continues every day, from caring for our animals to making our cheeses by hand. In the cheesery, our team turns milk into flavours that reflect our Canarian roots.
Rooted in the Canary Islands
Our farm and cheesery are in Tijoco Bajo, Adeje. Here we bring together rural life, artisan production and the gastronomy of Tenerife.
Recognition along the way
Montesdeoca cheeses have earned recognition in cheese competitions. Discover the awards and products that form part of our story.
